Grant Ayers Eagle Scout Project Photos
Hi my name is Grant Ayers. I am proud to be an active member of the Boys Scouts of America (BSA). I have engaged in BSA activities for many years and I am currently working toward my Eagle Scout Rank. As an Eagle Scout, one of the steps that I must take is to organize a project that will benefit the community and provide me an opportunity to lead my fellow Scouts in the planning and implementation of the approved undertaking. It is my hope that within this endeavor, our Troop 281 is able to create community partnerships with mutual support.
The Eagle Scout Project I have chosen is in support of breast cancer survivors. I will be creating a memorial garden at A. J. Jolly Park in Alexandria, KY for The Kentucky Thorough-Breast Dragon Boat Racing Team.. Dragon Boat Racing provides exercise and comradery for people who are or have battled cancer. In addition to competing, The Kentucky Thorough-Breasts raise awareness and funds to support cancer organizations and patients in our area. For the memorial garden, I plan to install a laser cut bench acknowledging those who we have lost to cancer. In order to have a lasting effect and help raise awareness for the organization, a dragon shaped garden of colored rocks will be created at the foot of the bench.
As part of the project management, it is my responsibility to raise funds through community support and donations with businesses like yours. My goal for this project is to raise $1,500. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you might be interested in partnering with Troop 281 in support of my Eagle Scout Project. I would be most appreciative if you could offer a discount or even better, make a donation of needed supplies or financial support for my project. Your support offers a Win-Win for our community, as recognition of your generosity, partnership and financial support will be highlighted throughout the project. Donations can be mailed to: P4CA, P.O. Box 76213, Highland Heights, KY 41076 or make a Donation Now online below.
Thank you for your consideration and support of me and the BSA.
